I'm new  obviously :P reptile lover since I was a kid when I got my first Anoles as a present from my grandparents, kept corn and rat snakes, bearded lizards, amongst various other lizards, and various frogs and interesting fish (a fantastic stinging catfish being my favorite!). I'm also slightly obsessed with Ants (hence the username), my most interesting colony died off last year (Pachycondyla apicalis), a wonderful species, large and very intelligent, and they squeaked, excellent vision and would follow me around the tank as I left food out for them, great little predetors, unfortunetly the 5 colonies of ants I had perished after a bug bomb was set off in a next door house without warning :( now I have just a small Raptiformica spec colony which I got a year ago.

Oh, and I am now the proud owner of a hatchling Savanna Monitor :) which is what brought me to this forum in the first place

looking forward to joining in
