To heat or not to heat

Heres the scenario:

Shipping out location is very warm, 90's and arrival location is 60's.
Package needs to be shipped , cant delay it. Do you add heat or no? Don't wanna cook the animal but at the same time most of the trip is overnight temps .... Opinions? Concerning species that do not tolerate very low temps obviously...

What species are you shipping? Personally, I probably would not do it...a little bit of cold isn't nearly as life-threatening as too much heat.

I'm not doing any shipping. My knobtails are supposed to come today, from SC. Its been really cold for 2 days (I thought today was going to be nice, via weather.com , but the 'nice' weather shifted to tomorrow and was going to postpone but the seller already shipped out, he didnt put any heatpacks which is good. just worried bout the cold... I'll update in an hour or so when they arrive, its probably somewhere around 65 and muggy here.

I'd have activated any heat packs I used right before shipping out. That way they are in full swing only when the package gets to where they are needed.
