After looking and reading about snakes and reptiles in general, this forum really caught my eye! My fiance and I have started getting addicted to the reptiles, mostly the snakes. We have a year and 4 month old male California King, Erebus, and a 3 month old female Ball Python, Cleopatra. We also have a juvenile Veiled Chameleon named Sneaky, the kids tend to like her more but are getting more comfortable with the snakes. We got Erebus first, but he is more my baby as he struck at my fiance a few times when we first got him, so he isn't really fond of Erebus as much (even as a baby, we were new snake owners, a little daunting at times, haha). My fiance loves our Ball, though, she seems almost bomb proof, even at 3 months old. I'm in the process of taming the King, he is improving a lot more as I'm learning more and more about the snakes. :)
Anyways, really looking forward to joining this community and learning as much as I can! The snakes are amazing, can't get enough of them!

Welcome to the forums and the herp world.

Alot of GREAT people here, enjoy.

Kings snakes are great but can be a little feisty, they come around easy with regular handling.

MBK, I've noticed between my king and BP the difference in how they are, Erebus is definitely a bit more everywhere at once compared to Cleopatra. He's getting better, though!
