Egg box

So I am getting my egg box ready and was about to go to the Home Depot to get some of the plastic fin drop ceiling stuff to make a sim style box but I have all kinds of galvanized metal screen here. Is it ok to put my jcp eggs on a metal screen or will it harm the eggs?

Personally, I would not use metal to rest my eggs on. I would keep looking for the plastic grate or just buy a SIM.:D
