Whatsup guys,

Fam is watching a movie and relaxing so I figured I'd hop on the computer and check the forums :D

Tomorrow is the last day/night at the red sea. Saw lots of cool stuff (millions of fish that I can't identify, a huge white eel with black spots that looked like a cow retic, and I did recognize a lion fish and a stone fish. Pretty epic but no pics under the water though

ANYWAYS,

I bought a new addition online while I was here from one of the foremost breeders of them in the U.S. and it was pretty expensive (thats your clue)

Whoever guesses wins my eternal friendship. Otherwise you will have to wait till I get home and receive him to figure out what it is!

I'll try to narrow it down to a species first as I am guessing by it being expensive that it must be a high end morph.

I don't buy morphs, not big on morph species for some reason I just like the wild types. Having legs or not narrows it down too much. Think of somewhat expensive normal wildtype animals.

my guess is a monitor of some sort... but thats as much as i've got hahaha... certainly not one of those adorable BHPs that have been posted around lately??? ;)

Nah I don't have 10 g's for an axanthic BHP. More in the 700 - 1000 dollar range

Its smaller than the brevicauda (big clue haha) so you can throw the varanids out

Alright, since nobody is guessing anymore and lost interest I guess I will tell you :D

I bought a breeder sized virgin female Nephrurus Amyae. Figured I'd buy the male when I came across one that I liked, and someone on fauna with a good BOI sent me a PM about a red line male 3 years old. She also took off shipping and I brought the price on him down 100$ .

Now I have a breeding sized virgin pair :-)

I'm not big on mammals as pets really. I like them all don't get me wrong, just not big on keeping them unless they are frozen. Too much maintenance and I don't want to get hepatitis or something from a nasty monkey bite or have a friend come over and have his face ripped off ... :P
