I was wondering if anyone here is practicing self immunization to build up an immunity against a bite.

Not anyone here that I am aware of self-immunizes. It's a very risky procedure; lots of math and calculations are involved, and even then it's dangerous. I prefer to avoid being bitten in the first place!

I kept & worked with many rattlesnakes for 20 years safely and you could not have PAID me to "self immunize" with venom. As far as I know, it's very hard on your body (assuming it's done "correctly") and despite the fact that a few individuals have done this experimentally on themselves with some success, it's not a path I'd personally ever follow.
