Once they get big enough for rat pups they grow like weeds. Also if you are feeding mice pinkies I would switch to rats ASAP. Even if a rat pink looks a little big he will be ok. He looks great. They grow fast. Ours put on about 16"/yr. Ours is female but still. Enjoy!!

How old should the snake be before its ok to get it probed? I don't wanna stress it at all so no hurry, it's health is my only concern! Still don't know male or female for sure but my kiddos are stuck with the name Oscar lol!!

I think any age is OK for sexing. The breeder of my old corn sexed /her/ at under 1 month of age, because that's when I got her and she was a positive female.

Cool! I'm literally down the street from one of the top herp vets here so Ill set up an appt & see if we can find out!! Or can they do it elsewhere? (safely)

Yes! Agreed! They know us well! Been going there for about 2 yrs for my bull mastiff/ boxer mix & 2 crazy cats lol!!!! This is my newest addition to the fam bam!!!

I'm really beginning to wonder if Oscar may be female lol seems quite big!! & really growing fast!!
