so i'm current;y working on making a live tank for my gtp and i was thinking of using star plants and possibly a few others and wanted to see poeples opinions on good plants to use

Yes.. bromeliad is probably the most used plant for live planted takes and for good reason. They do really well in tanks and are nice to look at!

Pothos is my fav plant to use. Grows nice and very hardy. I suck with brom's could never keep them alive. I was told its because I was keeping the roots to moist.

You can probably solve that problem by offering a bigger drainage layer

thanks for the tips :) at the moment i gave him a small tree that only gets three feet tall he seems to love it

Are you using any kind of drainage layer? In my experience it helps the plants stay properly hydrated and keeps problems like mold at bay.
