Uromastyx

Hello, I have two quick questions regarding to Uromastyx. I purchased a Ornate Uro hatchling a few months back and I want to get another. My first question is, can mutliple Uros be housed together or do they prefer to be alone? Secondly, if so can different types be housed together such as an Ornate and a Mali?

I would not suggest mixing different species. A mali gets much larger than an Ornate.

I don't have any experience with ornates, but "most" of the experts (Lindsey Pike of Urotopia, Doug Dix of Deerfernfarms, Tim from Uroboards) don't suggest them for beginners. I do know they are among the smaller of Uros, topping out about at 12-14".
