What are the nutritional requirements for north american millipedes like narceus americanus? Any help would be appreciated.

do you mean how nutritious are they as feeders, or what you should feed them?
I would feet them detritus; fruit and vegetable scraps, maybe 10% proteins like cooked fish or chicken. make sure they have plenty of moisture available.

That's what I mostly feed them. My millipedes will eat banana, carrats, and romaine. Their favorite foods are soft and sweet fruits like mango and papaya. They also like cucumber and banana peel. They're herbivores so I don't feed them animal protein. I was actually wondering about supplements. What kinds are best for millipedes?
P.S. I don't know if anyone uses millipedes as feeders.
the also really love mushrooms and decaying leaf matter (pest free so bake or freeze first) there really aren't any supplements when I kept abgm's they were good and healthy on the leaf litter and fresh fruit and veggie diet. You could maybe dust the fruit lightly if you wanted them to be more nutritious but other then that just let em be and they will grow and make babies

Definitely offer the mushrooms. Millies benefit from the extra chitin.
