Hi I noticed there is white discoloration that started small and now covers my sav's whole snout. Not sure if that's normal. Please see attached photo, you can zoom in.

Also, as stated before my basking temp is 130-140F, coldest spot in the tank is about 28C warm side around 35C, humidity is avg 65% in middle of tank, the soil burrow is moist. I don't know if I saw wrong, but today I think I saw my sav stumble, as if he's got metabolic bone disease?? I'm pretty worried as I never seen him do that. He was walking and seems like his right hand sprawled outward. I've only had him for maybe 1 month as a hatchling.

p.s. see the temp and humidity behind the picture, 60% humidity and 32C, and that's after I just had the door wide open, and just closed it. So usually it's 65% humid and 35C... I thought that was good... if he is getting MBD what should I do to reverse it?

I haven't the faintest but your thermometer isn't happy with you.

Hi, you need to crop the photo so just the head is in the shot, it`s impossible to see anything clearly as it is.

My guess he's shedding and the front part has already been sloughed ...

Looks normal to me. Hes just shedding in that spot. Not sure about the stumbling... That I would be worried about. :-\

I too think it`s just unshed skin, you can very gently rub the area and see if it feels loose if the monitor will allow it.

Which part is the unshed, the white part of the darker part? He is shedding overall tho, i think he's pretty much done shedding.

The pale part at the tip of the nose looks like it`s still to shed, that`s where you can gently rub (but don`t try pulling it off unless it`s loose).
