I have to say it, because it drives me nuts. Maybe I have OCD or something, but cut the extra off of that zip tie :P what do you need the slack for ? Nice snakes haha

yeah...it's one of those things...I keep meaning to clip it, then I totally forget about it until she's basking around it, then I remember again. However...I am not going to put my hands in there just to try to clip. :) She's well behaved, I just don't want to push it.
I figure I'll remember it again one day.

Make sure to cut it flush if you do trim it off, as it could be really sharp if not done right.

Cut it then heat the end with a lighter and melt it a bit. Sharp edge is gone.

You know honestly, every time I come to this thread and see that as I scroll down, it bothers me more. All my zipties are always flush, I can't stand the slack at the end...CUT IT OFFFFFF lol
