I'm am converting my old entertainment center into an enclosure and want to know what the best way to heat it is. The size will end up being 4'l x 2'h x 2'd. The top and bottom are 1" sealed particle board, and the sides will be 1/2" particle board. The front will glass. Any info. would be great. :D

Try Pro Products, I am converting to "in the cage" heat panels.

Doesn't anybody have any ideas? Has anybody used those cobra heat pads at all?
I have enclosure that size, i use a big zoomed pad other (yes other the wood) and inside i have 2 neon 4 feet around 20watt, (be sure that your snake don't crush it, put some protection). Neon don't get hot enough to burn your snake if he is too small to crush it. I have 2 4inch vent one close to the top and on close to floor. So inside temp on day 92F with some coolers spot. On night 92F on the pad and 78F to 80F for the rest.
If you want to take a look try this.

Thanks for all you input. I've decided to go with a cobra large heat pad inside my enclosure. When i get it all done, i'll post some pics.
God bless

Check out my completed cage in the enclosure showcase forum. I think it turned out great. Again, thanks for all of your input.
