View Full Version : hello everyone! first time snake owner here.
Hi guys! I just picked up my very first snake ever and im trying to learn as much as possible to make sure my snake lives a long happy life in my ownership.
Last friday picked up a ball python from my lps. Eyeballing him he looks as if its just shy of being 2 ft long. I named him waffles after my old beardie i kept when i was young.
Im pretty knowledgible in keeping fish. Have a few predatory fish along with other fish, but i know very little about snakes.
Im looking forward to being enlightened all about keeping healthy snakes.

Thats a beautiful set up! I am new also but not to snakes. I have more basic tanks for my snakes but I have been wanting to.do one really nice display tank. I am hoping to wait for.the perfect arboreal or semi arboreal snake :)
