thanks everyone i don't know what snake to get honesty i do like a lot of them mountain king snake has been the one i like the most for some reason but i'm having a hard to finding anything i like in my local area besides the typical ball python corn snake not a real variety i mean i do like both the snakes but i kind of what something different

look into local expos in your area, i know there is one in white plains, NY, and poughkeepsie, and one or two on long island; there is guaranteed to be tons of variety there, and you can probably find the snake you want, in the age you want, in the gender you want, for much cheaper than at a local pet store.
While you should have an initial quarantine tank set up before you get your snake, expos are also great places to buy cheap tank furniture, feeder mice/rats, bedding, tanks, etc.

Im not sure what expos may be south of you, but if you google 'reptile expos near _______" you should find some :) Best of luck!
