This dawned on me today, and I'm too lazy to look it up searching for a reliable source from the internet. What do GTP , Amazon tree boas etc. eat as neonates in the wild perched on trees. Surely its not fuzzy mice climbing up trees to be eatin :-P.
I'm guessing mainly lizards since birds are still too big? Frogs? just curious.

Yes :p all of the above. Same goes for arboreal vipers and almost all Boiga.

And adults switch to birds/bats or maintain the same diet just bigger prey?

I would imagine they convert to birds/bats, but not exclusive to those. Like many snakes, they are probably opportunists.

Maybe I'll switch to chicks eventually....or some sort of mixture between the two.
