Some recent pics from my Candy Stripe project:

This is one of the 2012 Super Candy Stripes Zabrina:

And another shot of Zabrina showing off her pink tongue:

Next up is the other 2012 Super Candy Stripe Zephira, she was a little shy that day:

Third on today's menu is a 2011 Super Candy Stripe Zorba:

He's developed a lot of speckling, much more than when he was a baby but you can see some speckles in this baby pic of Zorba:

Last on today's menu is one of my favorites, a 2011 Super Candy Stripe Zena:

And just for kicks, a baby shot of Zena for comparison:

The dentists around the world must love me for sharing all this candy! ;)

How much do these go for?

None have ever been sold. When I do produce for sale they will be in the $10K range. Today there are only six known Supers (I guess there could be more in the wild?) and I produced/kept them all. Right now I am raising them up to do the Super x ??? breeding trials to prove out the genetics. Planned for next year.

Supper cool mate good luck with your project.

Not sure I could ever buy one unless I win the lottery but it's still nice to dream.

Just like any morph, the early ones are very expensive, typically purchased by breeders with the plan to make more and sell the babies to pay off the expense of the parents. Typically those second generation babies will be less than the parents, sometimes a fair amount but still enough that one litter will pay off the parents.

As more are produced, the prices will come down. Hypo's for example also started in the $10K range, hovered at $7K for several years and now are under $1K.

Wow! Nice thread.. I actually didn't realize there were these variants on BRBs. I checked out your website and they're very cool. I'd never seen a calico or 'zebra striped pearl' BRB before. Nor the ones in this thread. Thanks a bunch for posting!! Very nice snakes.

Thanks, most of what you mentioned is in the developing stages, only known to be in my collection so far. Several Calico offspring and siblings to the Zebra stripe have been sold over the last few years.

Very cool!! You chose a unique/gorgeous species to work with, that's for sure.

Yeah, the "normals" can have amazing color and I have been very fortunate to discover what appears to be new genetic traits that take it to a whole new level.
