Gl, as long as you don't see that blimp of a Retic, and their severely underfed stock i hear they have nice animals.

I hear she's gravid...
So it's not such a great place after all? I was looking for a reptile stores in my area for bigger selection of supplies and that's how I found out they're close to me. I figured I'd go check out their selection and see the zoo while I'm there.
If nothing else, at least I'll get pics of a fatty retic and a 2 headed snake lol

This is prehistoric Pete's Twinkie... The owners should get fed pure lard for a year for this...

Did they overfeed her on purpose?

Either that or they are blind...
They get loads of publicity for owning "the biggest"...
I'll never buy from them...

Well, they still got the 2 headed snake haha. I'm not looking to buy any animals from them though...

Quite a few breeders have had axial bifurcated babies, shame they are normally fatally kinked

Like any big name breeder their prices are a bit higher, but at the same time.. They feed the minimum to non breeding stock, its not uncommon to get a 2 year old 4-6 foot Retic with nose rub and an attitude from em..

I have heard nothing but bad stuff about them over the years, and there prices seem more than just a little higher as well, seem down right stupid high, but they do breed some nice morphs, I guess if you want really rare snakes you got to do what you got to do. i heard they even charge you to go to there facility or something now?

They charge usually $10 to go the zoo. You don't have to pay to go to the store. I guess they're expanding or something so I only paid $5. I don't think I would have gone if it was $10. They're supplies seem pretty standard for a well know pet shop. As far as animals, some I thought were standard, some were less than standard, and some were definitely overpriced. Same with the condition of the animals. Some looked healthy and beautiful and some could use more attention. They did have a nice titanium and albino retics.
The staff seemed rude and annoyed and I felt like I was being treated like a misbehaving child and a nuisance to them when I asked questions. Eventually I found 2 guys that were nice and willing to talk to me in a professional manner.
I'm glad Stephan lowered my expectations going in haha

I still think it's a cool place to check out and see all the different animals :)

While the retic is bad, their monitor husbandry is downright terrible. They seem to be under the impression that a large lizard from the rainforests of southeast Asia is perfectly at home in an air conditioned building...

Don't the enclosures have heating?
I forgot to mention that Twinkie wasn't even there. I guess they took her in the back since she's gravid so i didn't get to see her :/

sorry to hear the trip wasn't as good as you hoped for, I heard they treat people like **** their as well, I watched a you tube video of buddy cutting retic eggs open, and ripping the babies out to see what he had, later the comments on the video were removed, I was disgusted watching it, sexiest retic babies being ripped out because the prick could not wait a few days more, and he had the odasity to defend his practice of ripping them out of the egg seconds after cutting it open..... in my eye nothing can steer me from believing they are a snake mill.

Yeah it's disgusting. I won't buy from them ever. But some of those snakes were definitely stunning!
