A 3x2x2 is to small? and the 55 gallon is to small for the baby beardie what size should it be like a whole room or what

maybe they arent feeling secure? Do you have plenty of hides, climbing structures, and basking areas? Can you post a picture of their enclosure(s)? Also, how many beardies do you have in the 3x2x2?

Are they just nose rubbing or glass dancing? It could mean they are stressed, seeing themselves in the glass, or want of thier tank. I have mine in a 40 gallon breeder and she does it when she wants out or attention. 55 gallons should be fine for a bearded dragon.

The one in the 55 dances and rubs its nose and the other beardie in the 3x2x2 it does the same thing but with all the walls even the ones without the glass

How old are they? Male or female? Can they see eachother? Are they pooping regularly? All these could contribute to why they are rubbing/dancing.

both a year the one on the bottom might be a little older both one female and one male i think im not 100% though. No they cant see each other one bit its a desk the 55 gallon is on top and the other cage is below. Yeah they do poop regularly the big one hasnt for like 2-3 days but im sure ill come home to a fat pile lol.. It really bugs me i hold them every day like 2 times a day for like 30 min and they seem super happy i give them a bath one time a week the temps are 105-115 not super hot but not to cold.. I dont know why they do this but im going to be building them both a 4x4x3 in the next couple months

If 105 os the cold temp then they are WAY too hot.

They do like interaction, maybe they want out of thier vivs even more. Mine usually does it when she wants attention or food. From what I understand it can also have something to do with egg laying and also puberty in beardies though I have no personal experience with this. It can be a pretty common behavior among beardies. I keep my temps at around 100-110 at the basking spot and around 80-85 at the cool end.

If this bothers you....get rid of them now. Thats nothing. Wait until they eat something and have a rancid crap.

To be honest I agree with terranaut your post was very disturbing, if you get bothered something so trivial then I don't know why you'd keep them, my Dragon glass dances when she was out or needs to poop, I've known some beardies who just do it.

Thank you, Terranaut & Valvaren. I agree.

Can you take a picture of the snout rub?

Its usually because they either feel insecure or they dont like the conditions in the enclosure. What is your cool side temperature? How long have you had these dragons.

I would say stop holding them for the time being. It may be that all that attention is stressing them out and making them feel insecure. Give them time to reduce their stress levels and perhaps this will help.

is your entire cage 105 to 115? or just right under the heat lamp? I hope its under the heat lamp, if so whats your cage temp? if they are in a cage that hot, that's most likely why they want out so bad. lower the temps to around 85, give it a nice hide as well, something relatively small they can fit into nicely.

it isnt that bad yet i just cant stand to see them hurt them selfs, Cool side is 70-80 and they have a big enough water bowl to soak in if they want to cool off too, Iv had the smaller one in the 55 gallon for a year. the other one like 1-2 months
ok when i like hold them they always try and get away even when i give them like 2 weeks of not holding then when i hold them and after like 3 min they try and get away and they jump and end up hurting them selfs then they get all defensive like i did it even though they jumped and they run super fast and like crash into my door some times only like 2-3 times between the both...

yeah just under the basking cage temp is 70-80 depending on the day ill add another bush in there for the 55 gallon so he can hide behind it

bulbs are only good, ie produce uv for around 6-9 months, some people will say 1 year but imho I don't trust it. I would get a little cave going verses a bush, something it can crawl into like a den, so it can feel safe, 4 walls a roof, nice and dark inside nice and small and secure to the size of there body, the pic I linked are nice looking, but you can build something yourself as I do, I go to the dollar store, buy a plastic bowl and cut a small opening and turn it upside down, I do this for all my snakes and will do when I get my bearded dragons on april 6th.

Yeah i got new bulbs last month and the next time im switching is in september. the size of that cave would take up a huge chunk of the tank, I might try and build acouple stacks in the new enclsoures when i have them ready then they can use that for basking and a hide.
