This has probably been asked already but I looked around and couldn't find such a thread. I just measured my ball the other day, and saw that she was one foot and 7 inches. She's on fuzzies right now and I was wondering should she be moved up to the next biggest mouse? If not at what length does her food need to be enlarged?

It's about her size, a rat a little bigger then the largest part of her

The prey size should be the size of the largest part of her body. If she appear to be hungry after she eats one item, the offer her a second.

you should also try to get her switched over to pinky/fuzzy rats sooner rather than later, because they will be what you snake ends up eating as an adult. They also tend to be a leaner than similarly sized mice, so its a higher quality package of nutrition. Best of luck!
17 inches is a newborn-ish. Upgrade the food size as she gets larger. It's kind of a common sense thing. Eyeball it.
