So I was looking at cattle troughs, and the typical shape that they offer that we are familiar with, is typically only 2 feet in height. I found a site that had all different sizes, View All - Loomis Tank (http://shop.loomistank.com/troughs_stock_tanks_galvanized_steel_all)

however they are circular when you click on a model number. Would a circular trough something like 60" height 60"length be good? Can someone check out dimensions and see which size they would recommend for a dwarf species? I may go to tractor supply and check out troughs tomorrow, they are cheaper than I expected.

The one in the photo is similar to the one I used as the base of my tank. I got mine from tractor supply it is a rubber/plastic one not the metal. It was a little cheaper and bigger. If I'm not mistaken it was "Tuff stuff" brand 110gal. Search within this site the thread Getting Ackies Need Advise and Suggestions and you will find the build thread to my ackie enclosure. It houses for now 4 juveniles witch will be narrowed down to either 2 pairs or (fingers crossed) a trio. Its worth at least looking at to get possible ideas.
