Hi everyone!

Just got a Champagne Mojave Male from a local breeder a few days ago and thought I'd share!

He's a tiny little thing for sure! Only 79 grams, and apparently 4 months old. Hopefully he packs on the meals soon as he is a but skinny, and he's got some small scabs near his vents that I've been watching and keeping clean.

I will be updating this little guy when I can and we can all see his growth together :)

Great genetics and good looking animal, for 80g at 4 months? What respectable breeder would have sold you that animal? You can tell me in PM...

I'm disgusted with said breeder and I'll be sure to pass his name around to my breeder friends and my customer base to stay the hell away from him in the future.

Yeah the breeder was trying to sell him for quite awhile, luckily I got him to drop the price dramatically and now he's under my care. Hopefully if he eats I can get him back on a feeding schedule and get him up to proper size. It will take time but I'm happy to be patient! :)

And thanks! Besides the whole situation he truly is gorgeous and I can't wait to see him grow up :)

Good idea, I've officially lost my respect for him and won't get another from him. :pissedoff:

*Update*

Good news! I offered this little guy a f/t pup this morning and once he figured out it was food he snatched it immediately!
He seems to be settling in quite nicely as well, and to top it off his nose is also looking much better. :) Looking better already!

Suggestion; those two giants boulders in the bin are entirely unnecessary. They not only take up precious floorspace, but provide no real purpose. I'm sure your new guy would enjoy the extra room to move around.

Tried feeding him again today but with no luck. Not really worried about it yet, but we shall see if he eats next feeding day :) Weighed him too and he is now officially over 100 grams though!

Well, looks like this guy is on his way to shedding! This will be the first shed since we got him.

Took a few pictures to compare with when he sheds out in a couple days.
Here's to growing up! :)

Alright, I woke up this morning to see that he shed! Yay!

Almost a perfect shed, since there was only a little bit left on his tail. And to top it off the scabs are now gone and he looks really nice and light. So proud of this little guy! Now lets hope that he eats on Saturday :)

Great news! First off we decided to name him "Charles", and he also ate yesterday!

Although we have been trying to feed him for over a month now with no response we decided to try live. And within 5 seconds of offering him a live rat pinky he struck instantly and gobbled it down. We are thinking of feeding him live for a bit until he grows enough and then we will try F/T. :)

Here's an update on this little guy!

Since last time he has been doing very well on live rat pinkies and just recently has moved up to fuzzies. Sadly he won't take an F/T yet so we will continue with live.
Since May he has eaten every 5-7 days, shed, and has gained over 60 grams. He is now around 150 grams compared to 80 when we first got him!

Here are some semi-recent pics of him:
