Hello everybody, I will be attending repticon in Atlanta this april. My gf has been looking for a sugar glider for a long time now and I was wondering if anyone has ever seen one at a show, and may be able to tell me if I have a good chance of seeing one.. Thank you.:3eyes:

I've seen a few "exotic" pets at reptile expos. I can't remember off the top of my head if I've seen a sugar glider, but there's a possibility.

Our Repticon here in the panhandle of Florida often has a sugar glider. It just depends on the area and the show promoters.

It wasn't repticon, but I've seen a few for sale in a show here in Indiana :)

As an FYI if you purchase one in Atlanta be sure to get valid documentation that the animal originated from a source inspected and regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture. This is needed should you be stopped while traveling through Georgia with the gliders. Sugar gliders are one of those animals for some strange reason states feel the need to over regulate. Some states it's legal to own them, some you need permits and others they are out right illegal to own. I don't know how strict Georgia is but here in my area if you get caught or seen with gliders, hybrid cats or a number of different species of illegal reptiles in your vehicle they will and do confiscate them.
