Well , i`ve got my new tank fixed up , it is a 4ft x3ft x2ft . i fitted in my new all in one heater , AHS microclimate heating system , which i am really pleased with , it beats the separates ( fewer wire`s ) It`s 350 wates , and i`ve got it so it trips at 30 degrees at top , and 20 degrees at bottom , is this spot on for a carpet python , only i struggled before to get the temps up with my other system . So i am going out in the next few days to find some large logs . I`am waiting for a XL hide i found on line to come in post too . Should i still offer a basking sight at the top , even though it is 30 degrees ? Tracy.

Yes , and you will get some . I am waiting on a 8ft ladder , that i am going to saw in half and and screw in the viv to make a climbing frame . This will leave the floor space free , where i will put new XL hide , made of roisin , that i am still waiting for , and also the water tank . I have placed a heatmat on the floor of the viv , and now a basking light has been fitted with cage . I love the new microclimate heating sytem i bought , it was £120.00 , but worth it . I`ve just got a table in there at the mo , so will post some pics asap , as soon as i`am done !! .
