So my thermostat must be broke, as I have it set for 90, yet my thermometer is recording the temp at 94.

think they'll replace a 4 year old thermostat :I

I would guess not , so I guess I'll have to find another way to regulate the temps until I can get a replacement.
I have a fan that I have used to keep it from getting over 90, but is that bad, do dramatic temp changes like that affect the snakes negatively? (Not that dramatic I guess, only like 4-5 degrees .. but still )

Some will argue that allowing a higher temp is okay as long as the low end temp is the proper temp.

As for being broken try setting it 4°f lower and monitoring it closely.

What is the brand?

Just one of the cheap Hydrofarm ones

Yeah those are notorious for not being all that accurate. Just play with the dial until you get the desired temps.

I have one that works very well - I am just having troubles with the one in my plastic bin :/ $30 is about all I can do for now. Hopefully later this year (after my second job goes through xP) I can get a better one.

I have used that same thermostat for years with no issues. But I highly recommend ignoring the digital temp on the stat and only rely on temps in the enclosure from a decent temp gun.

if i have a stat fail,i leave the heat off and replace the stat within 48 hours mate

i also carry a cheap mat stat for emergencys

Microclimate in the uk,will fix any failed stat 5 years old or under, for a £5 postage fee

i had them fix 5 stats a few month ago,i posted them to the company with a £5 note for return carraige, and i got all 5 back fixed,so its worth inquiring to the company what type of repair policy they have
