For those of you who use Cypress Mulch, what brand do you get? From where? Price is not an issue for me, I just want to use bedding again for my two snakes as I've been using newspaper for the past few months, and it seems that the paper always wants to stick to their enclosure once they or their prey item go to the bathroom on it. I've never had this problem using aspen, so I want to switch to substrate again.

I get mine from petco or petsmart, I forget the brand, because none of the plant shops, home depot's and like places in my area carry it anymore because I guess some of those wildlife protection agencies are fighting to protect cypress trees so they cut down on the amount that they can chop down or something like that. At least that's what the guy at the plant shop told me.

Most of the cypress mulch is made from already downed trees that are drug from bodies of water for this reason.
I buy Gardener's Pride from Lowes because I know its 100% Cypress. When buying from hardware stores you need to make sure its not a cypress blend, or mix or anything that indicates there may be other types of wood mixed in. The stuff from Lowes has quite a few positive reviews on the BP forum and I've been using it for about a year now with no problems. It is a little bit dirty though, has some small wood chip particles mixed in that when wet appear to be dirt, but are just tiny wet chunks of cypress.
