So i have a question. I have had my Diamond x Jungle with my 11 year Jungle on and off over the last month with out them showing any interest in each other. So i put them back together yesterday and nothing again. My laundry room is in the next room. This morning Tami was washing a bunch of blankets. For over 5 hours the dryer was going and the humidity level just 20% in the whole basement. The room temp went form 73 up to 80. After about a hour with the humidity and temps being higher they start going at it. And have been since.
Snap a quick pic. Didn't want to bother them.

So my question is this. Do you think the big increase in warm humidity and temperature could have been what help get them into the mood? I really like to hear people and mainly breeders thoughts.

Btw i recently i found out my Diamond x jungle and Bredli are both males not females. So this changed up my breeding plans. So i figure why not put my Diamond x Jungle with my big Jungle. She was a virgin until this morning. So i have my fingers cross for a nice size clutch.

Awesome Chuck!!
Mine tend to be morning lovers :) but usually before dawn. I have caught mine in the act 10+times on night shifts over the past 2 months. I would tend to think the low night temp was what got your going and not the increase in the morning. Mine are in a 4x4x2 and it can be 92 on top of the basking perch and read 73 on the bottom when it gets real cold here. Guess where mine go for some sexy time... yup the coldest part of the viv at the bottom. Is this behavior exclusive to my pair? Maybe but I doubt it. So take from this what you may but this is how we get the Barry White going at our place ;)

Funny the difference. Time to research in my copy of Complete Carpet Python. Mine are both basking now 15 min before lights out. An hour from they will be in the bottom again.
