Is it possible for an adult beardie to be impacted yet still poo regularly? My guy is stretching his back legs out and seems a bit off, but has no problems defacating.

is his poo, all white as if so, that would just be urine but if theres some blackness/browness in there, then hes obviously able to digest some food, i personally dont think hes impacted that much but im no expert at this, im just puting (or trying to) logic to it. and the logic comes from: if hes impacted, im guessing that he wont beable to digest his food properly if at all, defication will still be possible but mostly if not all urine, etc.

What do you mean by a bit off? Mine stretches out quite often mostly under the light I think it's to get as much of his body under the light I don't think stretching out would be any problem.

What's your set up like? What is it diet? If it is defecating I doubt it's impacted and more leaning to a lack of vitamins.

I agree with Aaron. If your temps are right and you dont feed greens straight on sand it is fairly rare to have an adult dragon get impacted. It would help a lot if you told us how his viv is setup and gave us pictures. It would also help if you gave us pictures of the dragon doing what you are describing.

Also, if your set up is really done properly a little bit of substrate could be passed easily. Impaction is an excuse for bad husbandry usually. Not saying it's the issue as of yet because I don't know.

Thanks for all the posts. I changed up his diet a bit and he's back to his old self. I think he was just bored with the same old food.
