This is Calliope, my Argentine. For those that have been following, there was question as to whether I will be able to keep her. My wife has changed her mind for now and said we will see how it goes!!!

Her nature is very relaxed. She is curious and loves to examine the area around her (with trepidation of course), but very easy to manage and does great with handling!

They don't need a giant enclosure.

Hahaha! I think this might be our only married couple on the forum where both are members. Could be trouble! ;) Just kidding, glad to have you both on board.

Nope there's other. LankyRob's wife is a member. Presspirate (Greg) and his wife both are. I am pretty sure there is a couple others. They just don't post much anymore.

Gratz on deciding to give it a whirl with your pretty girl...now you can keep the wife too! (really really joking!) Isn't that best---its a win-win situation--- gorgeous snake and wife combo there-- I think you lucked out in this all around!

I know this is a older post but I'm new here and that's the only boa I'll ever own. I've got a pair that I plan on breeding this year. My boy is I'd say 7-8, my girl is 5 this year, I've raised her from a hatchling and can't wait to see the little ones roaming around. Is yours het albino? I only ask because both of mine are a whole lot darker, or is she still young?
When I got my girl I thought the Guy sold me a common red tail, was so so happy when she started to blacken up. Now you can hardly see any red in her tail at all.
There a hard snake to find especially full blooded. Took me 3yrs to find one not t+ or t- that they were willing to sell. And yes females get big largest boa I've seen got a friend that has a t+ that's pushing 13' and almost 65#.

No worries...I do not think she is albino. She is only 2 years old! She is amazing. Unfortunately I haven't been able to spend much time with her lately and am looking to see if there is someone that would want to buy her and give her a good home. If you know of anyone, please let me know
