A year ago there were no snakes in my house. Then my daughter wanted one for my birthday last summer. I didn't say yes or no, the hubby said ok, and the next thing I know a baby high white California King had taken up residence in a terrarium in my daughter's room.
Next came the garter snake - the hubby found an injured baby. She has tamed down nicely and is a rather pretty little thing.
Somehow over the next few months we ended up with another three ball pythons (two are under a year old, and the adult is a rescue), a Pueblan Milk snake (because it looks like a coral snake LOL), a Mexican King snake that wasn't selling at the pet store so the manager gave her to us (she has the most awesome temperment), and the latest addition is a baby rainbow boa who is gorgeous now and will be stunning when he grows up.
So I'm here to read and learn.
