They look so friendly.

Most of them are really good, the bigger albino i trust quite a bit, wouldn't fully underestimate her, she has my respect but she is laid back.

it was only after this picture was taken that i relaised she was giving me a kiss lol, is an old pic and she was in shed, but still

Thanks, the normal is over 20 yrs old now, and around 14ft. She is a great snake. I do like the hypos, but have to say the pearl is even better in the flesh.

Love the burms!!

Thanks :D

Cheers, i do like the granites, but i think the standard albino female is one of the nicest looking snakes.

I try not to think about it lol, but they pretty much pay for themselves, as i sell of most the babies i produce, and working in the reptile industry helps as i get trade prices on food, if i was paying full retail prices it would sting a lot more lol.

Awesome. A Burmese is definitely the only really big snake I could see owning. That hypo is crazy hot.

Burms are great snakes, generally quite laid back, although a big burm on a bad day isn't all that fun lol,

Thanks, for me its my retics first, then the burms, but the indians are stunning looking snakes, especially in natural lighting.

Yea it is, the female tiger she is with there and her were put together for a few weeks, then i introduced a male retic, who then locked with both, she ovulated and went the distance, then slugged out unfortunately, but trying again this year.

No?
The big normal was kept at the reserve on display, all the others are taken either in one of my reptile rooms or outside in my garden.

I do like granites, that was from a het clutch i bred, i kept one male back for myself so that i had a visual, turns out he has become a bit of a mental snake, the defensive levels are very high, but he is nice to look at so i don't mind lol

I am not keen on the granites for some reason maybe it's because I like the normals so much.

My girl is a between 9 1/2' to 10' long (I haven't gotten an accurate measure on her in a while). Up until she got around 9', she was fairly easy for me to handle. Now days I open her tub and let her come out on her own, then point her in the direction I want her to go lol. I 'can' hold her by myself as she's trusting and docile enough to let me do it, but it's easier on me if I have someone help me or just let her do whatever until I can sit down and work with her. Unless she's just been fed or is in deep shed, she always wants out so getting her to come out is usually not a problem at all. All I have to do is open her tub and she comes out. Getting her to go where I want her to can sometimes be a challenge though lol

Best of luck on the bateaters, getting them can be tricky. Hoping to try this fall myself.

Ah they aren't too bad, don't have to go to the gym when you have a nice big burm you can lift and handle for a bit lol.

My burms aren't too bad for that, they tend to chill more when they are out, its the retics that try and get everywhere that you don't want them to be lol.

Cheers, good luck with your attempt, i've also gone for a possible worlds first this year with a retic x so am hoping that works out lol.

lol blade.. I've got torn ligaments in my wrist, i dont see myself lifting a snake that big.. i doubt ill be handling my boa much once she gets full grown. which seems to be faster than i thought lol, just pulled some more shed out of her cage.
