This one is actually a really light purple phase, was one of the babies i produced last year, apparently according to the new owner it has darkened up a lot now as the purples do, did look very lavenderish at that age though you are right. And thank you :)

Thanks, I plan to produce an albino super tiger in purple, white and lavender phase this year, so i'd like to keep one of each of them, and will also add a golden child or possibly a golden child albino at some point.

may i ask you something, ive noticed that with alot of the pics youve put up (not just the retics which are stunners btw), you have alot of snakes cohabiting, im guessing these are your current breeding pairs.
sorry if that comes across wrong but im very curious about it :D

They are way to cool mate. How long does it take them to eat a rabbit?
How big are they when you switch to rabbits?
Only asking coz Ill be switching to rabbits for my female bci after she lets go of the babies, not straight away as I would like her to get over the birthing period. Cheers.

There are a lot of species that i cohabit, i also do tend to keep breeding trios together all year round on most species, however with retics i tend to have the male seperate and have 2 females together, and just put the male across them both when in season. There are some species that i wouldn't but for many if you know what signs of stress to look out for, and feed separately you wont have any issues.

Depends on the size mate, a big retic will polish of a rabbit in about 5 to 10 minutes, smaller ones can take 20 to 30 minutes to work it all the way down. I generally get them onto rabbits around the 9ft mark, by then they have started to fill out enough to be able to take them. As for the first 6 to 8ft they tend to be long but thin.

What sort of age? I know it depends on the snake as there all different but a rough idea.

For retics around a yr to 18 months, for boas, they are normally around 3 or 4 before i give them something bigger than a large rat.

I work for a reptile shop, and we also have a display premises aswell. We don't have a website though. I breed them myself, and also have the animals in the shop and then our display animals that we keep aswell. All the retics are at mine though.

I think I might have to have a holiday for a week at yours lol.
Not sure my wife would see the funny side.
I just can't get over the shear amount you have you must work 25 hours a day to maintain them lol.

It really doesn't take much maintenance now, the big snakes get fed once a month on large food, the smaller snakes are done weekly, and spot cleaning is done every day, only takes around an hr to spot clean everything, a full clean out takes a good days work though, but a full clean is only necessary every 4 to 8 weeks depending on the set up. Once you have a proper schedule and routine sorted it is easy enough to keep on top of everything.

Nah he did shed in one piece, but he had wrapped it around everything, and thats the hot side so it dried pretty quick, so when i removed it a lot of it broke off and ripped, i tend to just bin them now anyway unless they are complete sheds at a decent size without any breaks. They normally shed well, but if i miss them coming in to shed and miss the heavy spray they can shed a bit patchy, but when that happens i remove it straight away, normally a spray down and a handle is enough to get the last bits off. But it is rare i miss the heavy spray when they come into blue.

That's cool bit like me but I only have 5 snakes! I keep a regular eye on them and they have never had a bad shed. I have 2 in shed right now my male bci 4 year old 5 and a half feet is in the blue. And my female 10 month old 3 foot bci is just out of blue so should shed on Sunday at latest. :)

I love albino tigers :)
They are still one of my favorite retic morphs, the lav tigers in natural sunlight just glow, they are so bright, i'm missing one morph that i want to add, and that's a golden child, but i'll get my hands on a GC het albino soon enough, just reptiles are taking a little bit of a back seat as i want to get more into my birds of prey lol.
