I do have a few more on my laptop, i'll upload them and stick them on later, unfortunately they look very different as adults then they do babies, this one i only had in my collection for around 6 months whilst i looked after it for a friend, they have it back now, i just like the look of them as babies lol.

Luckily i work with reptiles for a living, and we have a large premises, so i can house animals at work, and i also have outbuildings that i have converted into reptile rooms aswell.

I didn't exactly stick my hand in between its coils whilst it had hold of the rat, i was on the phone whilst feeding, and wasn't paying attention, offered her food on the tongs, not really expecting her to take as she had been ovulating and off her food, she then shot past the rat and tongs missing completely and wrapped round my arm, luckily she back tracked and grabbed hold of the rat rather than any of my fingers and then set about constricting it, once she was satisfied, she loosened her grip, and ate the rat, then i returned her to her viv. My fault for not paying attention, but no damage done so didn't bother me.

I don't hand feed anything big, easier to avoid getting bitten that way lol, but mistakes happen when you don't pay full attention, it's just a good job i know when feeding the bigger snakes that can actually do some damage, and the venomous stuff to concentrate more lol.
Beautiful snakes. Loving the Ring and Woma pythons.

Thanks woma pythons are great snakes, i used to hand feed when i kept mainly colubrids, but it isn't worth it for me with the bigger stuff, i'd end up losing too much blood lol.

I been lucky and really fast. lol The only two feeding bites i ever taken didn't even involved food.

Lol, your reflexes do get real good when you are dodging snakes all day lol, i see you have a savu python, how do you find it? I'm quite liking the macklots and just picked up a nice male dunns python, thinking i may end up getting a savu at some point.
some of the new dunns,

His a cool little guy. A 2009 he really mellow out over the years. The guy i got him from hooked trained him, so all i do is pick him up with the hook and set him in my hand. Once in my hand he mellow as can be. I swear they look like a mini scrub python. Here's a link to my thread on him. I need to add some new pictures. http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/general-python-forum/96777-savu-python.html

Ah nice, my macklots is alright when out, but can be a musker when getting her out, this dunns is very very bitey at the minute, but calms a bit when in the hand, just doesn't settle completely, not too fussed though, i got him and a garter snake as i was leaving after buying a retic from someone, for £20, i sold the garter to work for £20, so he was basically free, am very happy with him.
I do get the scrub look aswell, does have that look about them, i see macklots as a kind of carpet python type snake in size and build, with the intelligence of a retic lol.
