this is my first time owning a gtp so far i have been feeding him and was wandering if i should slow down a bit because there is a for lack of a better term gap in the size of his body and his tail and am not completely sure if this is normal...

also when i got him he was more orange wheres now he is more of a yellow and was wandering how long color changing to green takes on average?
also can anyone what kind of gtp he is? his tail is turning kinda blue if that helps identification

if it helps he has gotten quite a bit bigger since i've got him so i don't know if i should slow down feeding him (every week) of feed him smaller pray i just would rather be safe then sorry

I fed mine every seven days for first year then on a 14/21 day rolling schedule after that.

Yours looks perfectly healthy shape to me :)

And my colour change took about six to eight months to complete :)

The "gap" at the tail your worried about is actually a nice big present coming your way soon!! A big crap and that will look normal again.

I far as I know it could take from 6 months to a couple of years for a GTP to completly change colors (depending of the type or location where your GTP comes from, I read Biaks can take sometimes up to 4 years)

Looks like a Biak locality. Biaks take the longest to go through the color change. Looks like he has a poop coming for you. I would recommend you record every time your GTP goes poop just because gtps can prolapsed if over fed and do not digest correctly. He/she looks healthy though! Nice looking GTP! :)
