Hey there, I'd just like to introduce myself. My name is Miguel and I've just semi-recently gotten back into keeping reptiles. At the height of my addiction, around 05-06, I had 15 retics, 2 burms, 2 balls, 1 green tree python, 1 waglers viper and a water monitor. I used to frequent Bob Clark and Mike Wilbanks' forums. Eventually, I had to concentrate on school etc. etc. so I had to sell my collection. Fast forward 5 years later, and I'm back!
Why retics you may wonder. Well, I am from the Philippines and retics are EVERYWHERE over here. I've had an affinity for them ever since I was a kid. Nobody used to breed them back then because there just was no interest in a local species. People preferred burms or ball pythons. SO, I started collecting unusual or interesting normals. I had two friends who did the same and I got most of my specimens from them. Unfortunately, most of my pictures were lost in a hard drive crash. I even went so far as to ask Mike Wilbanks if he had archives of the old forums to see if I could get some of my pictures back. The archives met the same fate as the pictures I was trying to find, sadly.
Fret not forum mates! I was able to salvage a few pictures from an old laptop hard drive. Definitely a small portion of my retic bunch, but still pretty cool to have nonetheless. They were some of my latest additions before I stopped. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I found these.
*oops, I just tried to post it with all the pictures but the forum won't let me because I'm a new member. I promise I'll post them as soon as I can. :)
