Hi again, thanks for the photos! I think there`s too much open space which is a shame, and the vines (string) are much too thin in my opinion. Is there a reason you haven`t used stout, firmly fixed (real) branches?
Because their legs are somewhat splayed out to the sides it`s best to have the climbing objects at least as wide as the feet spread.
What type are the heat bulbs and what wattages, and why are they so far apart? I do llike the enclosure itself, just a little more modification would make it much better for the lizard.

the lights have been changed since those pictures, thats just some pics after we "officially" put them in there. The lights are 75 watt halogens and not pictured is the uv light which is a florescent fixture mounted to the top. There are more plants in there now and the reason we didnt mount branches is the whole thing is made from some sort of laminated wood and mounting a bracket big enough to hold the branch and lizards weight kinda didnt work because it would split the lamination. The vines are now bigger, i took them out and re braided them to be much thicker. I am attempting to put real plants but I am having such an issue with them destroying them, any tips to keep them from doing that? Id like to plant some pothos and birds of paradise.

look into large corn plants. Or some form of small "tree", not plant. You certainly need more items in the enclosure. How well is it sealed? Varanid tight?

its not as muggy as my monitors set up but its muggy alright- i think its not as belting as the monitors because its not as hot, and smells like a forrest, ive got a spray i wipe down the glass with that keeps moisture from sticking to it and fogging it up otherwise id never see them. Works on glasses too! you should get it. Its all natural and made from some type of plant. Any ways, i will look into those plants. The female spends some time in a burrow from time to time yet i never see the male in one. I am looking into getting a door seal to place at the top because there is a bit of warm moist air escaping from time to time.

Temps in the lights are 110
temps in the middle are any where from 92 to 87 depending if i open the door
temps on the bottom are about 75.

my male stays in the 90ish range and my female seems to like it cooler.

Hi again, as far as plants are concerned, I use the larger plastic ones, such as ferns, Cheese plants etc, they will still get damaged over time, but many are quite cheap to buy (I get them on ebay).

i was thinking about heading over to micheals and grabbing some. The only problem I have, my "mental special needs" male likes to eat plastic
