Male vs. Female???

Just wondering if anyone can tell me any differences between the two.... such as the avarage differences in size, weight, or temperement, or anything else you can think of off the top of your head that you've noticed or may know about. I know this is kind of a vague question and there's allot of factors to take into consideration but for the most part what are the avarage size differences??? I know females are usually larger, but by how much???

Im seriously looking into a Suriname boa so any help or opionions would be much much appreciated. And if my questions not specfic enough, let me know and I'll try a little harder :)

Suranime females can get much much bigger than the males, they can reach 12 feet if you feed them a lot! Males can stay at 9-10 feet, and a slimmer bodied than the females. As for tempermant, it has to do with the snake and not really with the sex, but as far as I've noticed, males tend to be more placid.
Red-tailed boas are almost always gentle and handleable as adults.

IMOE the majority or BCC I have had the opportunity to work with can be pretty sensitive temperament-wise. They seem to be more nervous and get set off easier, though I have also known a few that were quite docile. Your best bet is to aquire a neonate or juvie boa and work with it alot. IMHO alot of an animals disposition is a result of how its been raised. Though some species don't tend to require any work or maintanance to maintain a docile temperament, this species seems to require more work and takes more time. Sizes range anywhere from 6-11 feet (11' is less commonly seen, on average they range from 6'-9'). Males are typically smaller (6'-8'), though this is not a rule.
