Well, let them all hatch out first and let me give them a good start at life, and then we can talk...but I'd rather trade for other chelonians like box turtles
Chris

4 eggs, 1 was no good
You mentioned Box Turtles....are there people in Ontario working with them? I am very interested in them as I used to keep them in California, but since coming to Canada I haven't seen hide nor hair of one. Only red foots, and other larger species. What do you they normally go for up here? I know I could only dream of paying what I did for one in California (about 30 bucks) but I have no clue of what they would run here.

Ahh proud father. Congrats Chris. Good luck with the others. Nice lookin' little guy, eh. :) Gorgeous colours. Keep us posted on its growth and the others.
Marisa, you'll have to look around, but there are quite a few people working with them - $150 is the lower end, and I have heard $250 for easterns. Crazy, eh. The reason is b/c they are not allowed to be exported from the US.
Cheers,
JJ
That is quite a differance in price! Wow. Well one day hopefully I will be ready to get one! Price ain't to bad but I am not ready for UV lights and other turtle stuff just yet! :) Nice baby again ReptileHQ
