My other half is getting his first snake, we have researched corns seeing as he had his heart set on a corn snake, however he's seen a goins kingsnake he's fallen in love with so he is getting her tonight.

I have looked about for caresheets but can't seem to find a single one specific to the goins, I found lots for Kingsnakes as whole. So can anyone help with a few things, like how big do they grow? This one is a female one year old, i'm unsure of her size but she comes with a 4' viv, will that be big enough for her whole life? Also she feeds once per week, is that enough (only asking that as caresheets for kings say once or twice per week and i'm not sure if different species of kings have different feeding habits) Also at the risk of sounding stupid we have guinea pigs, would she be a danger to them (obviously i'm not planning on putting the snake in with the guinea pigs, and i'm not planning to have any escapes, I just want to decide where to put the snake and ensure the piggies are protected just incase it did escape, we are locking the viv though so its highly unlikely, just want to cover all angles)

Any help would be much appriciated x

Cant help with the care side but in terms of the guinea pigs our seven snakes are in the same room as our guinea pigs and they take no notice of them. A king or a corn wouldnt be able to eat one but two of our pythons could and even they arent concerned with them :)

I have one. He's great. Eats anything ,anytime.
A 4' viv is fine. My male is about 4.5ft and 6+ yrs old.
I feed mine once a week unless in shed. He drinks lots of water and likes to poop in his water dish almost every time. Not many people have these so feel free to pm me for more info.
This is ours King James or KJ for short.

Very easy to care for. Not much humidity required. Cool side is room temp and warn is80- 85 ish. Always eats always shed perfect. Probably my easiest snake to care for.
But he is a king and will try to eat your hand if it smells like another snake or even my dog so a hand wash before handling is a must.
