Intro- My name is Ed and I am from NJ, I am a chef by trade, a father and a bass fisherman. I have also been keeping reptiles for 20 years. My interests have varied throughout the years and I have been successful at breeding many species. My current projects involve Specters and other corn snakes, turtles, & Brazilian rainbow boas.(normals/hypos)
I look forward to contributing and enjoying what this site and its members have to offer. Thanks

My brother had a wild caught that had parasites and severe RI. The parasites eventually went away but the RI kept coming back. You could handle it gently but it was mean as hell when it wanted to be.

One of these just died about a week ago, they are captive bred and never ate on their own. I tried every option and I mean EVERY option and it always resulted in tube feeding. They are mean too. never missing an opportunity to strike at the face and chewing after they latch on. They are good looking though. The one I have left now eats by tease feeding and even that is not a sure bet.....I would not recomend this snake to anyone but the most advanced and patient keepers.

He was able to get his WC to eat weekly without problems, he just had to leave it alone and cover the enclosure completely. But yeah his would strike at the eyes any chance it got and he actually was allergic to something from the snakes bite and it would swell up.
