Ok Im new and I just got a 7 month ball python and was wondering how old does it have to be to figure out the sex?

Ball pythons can be sexed almost as soon as they're born -- I'd take it back to the breeder that you got it from, and ask him to sex it for you.

If you got it from a petstore, I wouldn't really trust them to sex it... so either find an experienced herper in your area willing to do it, or a qualified reptile vet...
