Hello,

Does anyone know of a place in birmingham where you can get some halogen flood bulb sockets? Homebase said they do plastic but no ceramic or porcelain. Or if you are selling 2 or three and live around the Birmingham area that would be a big help.

What's the bulb type/fixing part number?

I know that Shirley aquatics have reptile stuff and they will almost certainly have a ceramic fitting in (but always worth a call first) where abouts in brum are you, its a big place?

I'm in Northfield, and sometimes in West Bromwich lol. I'll see if they are open :)

It's been a while since I lived in Birmingham and I didn't keep reps then so I am not so clued up about the local shops but most reptile/petshops that sell reps should have a ceramic fitting in stock. I have a feeling that pets at home even sell them (I will have a look now) and they are usually open to 8

I had a little go at contacting the pet stores near me but they picked up the phone. Oh well I'll take a trip to my local tomorrow morning he sells them for £1.50 a piece which is fairly good I think :)
