Is it common for jags to be bred to each other? Since the super form is fatal that's a 25% potential loss of each clutch. That seems like a pretty large hit to take for each clutch.

Leucistic,leukos means white,Leucistic snakes lack nearly all colour and pattern but have either blue or dark pigmented eyes

not unless it's a really bad one, but they can't be bred.

the jag neurological issues,range from a slight head wobble,to doing full corkscrews around the tank

you can breed a Jag with a severe head wobble and the hatchlings can be ok

you can breed a Jag without a head wobble,and the hatchlings have head wobbles and corkscrew

as far as i know,the parents condition does NOT,seem to determine how the hatchlings turn out

no one has ever done enough scientific research into why jags can have neuro issues

it's seems more common and imo more accepted in America,than over here in the UK

i am thinking of Jag x Jag next season,but my concience has a problem with dead leucy's,so i'm still not sure if i'll do it..

a friend of mine did it last year,and he said it was soul destroying,watching healthy active leucy's in the egg,only for them to die just before,or just after hatching..

the leucy's ive seen that live a few hours out the egg,usually have severe neuro issues,imo it's a sad sight to see
