I don't think it's a red axanthic. I think it's more likely a normal. Where did you get him from?

Natural lighttends to pick up the true colours and patterns best, how about a shot with light coming through a window? White light may work but i am not a photographer so am not sure :)
my brother got him for me at little amazon pet shop.

If you like your snake and how he looks then you're set!
No problems with that. Normals aren't worth anything less than morphs.

Normals are free at conventions and sold from breeders for like $40... they're worth A LOT less.

I don't mean currency-worth.
I mean the snake itself is as good a pet as any morph as long as you enjoy it.

That's true, I personally don't like normal BPs but normal boas are my favorite. And with morphs I like ones that are close to their original appearance like hypos and pastels.

I'd ratheer have a normal over pretty much any other BP, tho Mykee is starting to turn my head towards some morphs, damn him! :)
As others have said unless you bought him as a fancy morph and got ripped off, or are expecting to breed him as a fancy morph then as long as you are happy that is all that matters :)

I agree with you Rob, i much prefer my normal male over a lot of the morphs out there, though i would not say no to a high white pied female:D

If you're referring to the picture I put up that's not a pied. It's a blue eyed lucy with paradox which means that a normal pattern comes up.
Here's an albino paradox

Just thought I'd mention that those are awesome examples of paradox ball pythons. It can vary a lot especially since it's a random "hiccup" with the genetics.
I have a paradox pewter blast here. Just a small spot near his tail isn't silver/grey it's the yellow of the pastel.

I wish I could have a collection that included an albino paradox, it is such a beautiful combination. Does anyone know what they look like as adults? Do they fade out like a normal albino, or would it retain a lot of the contrast that you see, or is the picture shown above an adult example?

Depends on the albino. Some fade, some hold bright, some turn a little orange. Doesn't matter about the paradox part as I mentioned above.
All albinos have been bred for high contrast over the last 10 years or so, so even the most "dull" ones are quite bright as adults. I have a 12 or 13 year old male here and he's still actually pretty bright.
