I am by no means a carpet person but as far as I am aware it wouldn't be an issue at all as long as temps, humidity and proper air flow could be maintained.

Shaun will be able to give better advice when he takes a look at this thread.

RUB is a brand name for plastic tubs - Really useful boxes ;)

and yes you can keep in a rub / tub but size would depend on snakes size

Yes you will be fine. I use them on my little ones until their quarantine period is over.

i use the largest size plastic exo terra faunariums for my hatchling carpets mate,put them on a heat mat under a 3rd of the bottom (outside),stick a couple of bits of bamboo cane as branches,water bowl and 2 hides,and they do just fine

cheers shaun

rub = really usefull boxes...

they are just plastic tubs with lids,they come in all sizes

people use them to store stuff in,anything from,kids toys,blankets,clothes,etc

you can pile them up on top of each other in a cuboard,or slide them under a bed...

basically plastic storage tubs,with lids that click shut on top...

burn a few air holes in them with a soldering iron,which gives you ventalation,without sharp edges

my Diamond Pythons are very slow growing snakes,so they were in one for roughly 18 months

my other carpets were in them until they were a year or a little longer,depending on individual size

imo when they've outgrown the faunarium,you will be able to tell just by looking

roughly a year to a year and a half mate

i have a 2007 male 50% jungle jag,who's barely over 4ft
