So i got my RHP from reptile basics today and pulled it out of the box to a surprise. there is no end on it and they did suply an end for me to use.
i wanted to know how many people went to homedepot and bought a better end than what is supplied with the kit.

By "end" i assume you mean plug? I have found that theheat supplies i have used for my reptiles come without the plug attached so that you can thread the wire from the viv through the vents easily then attach the plug :)

i understand that but do you upgrade the end/plug or do you use the one that you get supplied to you?

I use a Home depot end on a couple and have it hooked through a house thermostat on the others. The units are not grounded anyway so no need to go to fancy.

Usually ends you buy from home depot are not very well made. To get a very well made one buy an extension cord and just cut the end off with some wire.

I use the 1 it comes with ,why spend more money if your trying to save ! ,just be sure to put the wire through the back of the enclosure first before fitting the end ;)

correct in excitement to get it all set up i made this error ,albiet the plug type we have here is not the same as what i had back in England ,just a matter of unclipping it and remove ,thread the wire through and re-clip ,seconds rob ,i know the plugs in England though.......now where's the Phillips got too i had 2 mins ago damn kids run off with it .......Lol
