Hello :)
Quick about me: I have loved snakes all my life, I've finally reached an age, maturity level, and financial place in life, that I can properly care for one. I've started visiting a number of reptile forums to better educate myself on what "proper care' actually means.
Although I'm new to snakes, I'm not new to online forums. With that being said I'm having an issue trying to access attached files within threads. :hmm:
As you can see in the pictures below, clicking on the attached image in the first picture immediately redirects me to the message found in the second picture. The third picture is shows that I have no problems viewing pictures that are embedded. (pics edited to meet size limit requirements).
Also, typically I would embed the images but being my first post I can't use the number of links necessary.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You should be able to embed images now that your first has been approved.

Welcome to the forum. :) There are lots of knowledgeable people here who can answer any question you could possibly fathom on many different species. Out of curiosity, do you have any particular species in mind?

Actually I do, I'd like to get a Guyanese Boa Constrictor. To be honest though I'm probably at least another 6 months away from pulling the trigger, as I have a lot of research to do still (which is why I'm here).
Riding sportbikes is my main hobby and if you spend even five minutes on a forum you can quickly learn that its in a riders best interest to start on a smaller displacement engine like a 250cc, rather than jumping straight on to a 1000. But its not just about engine size, its also about tires, air pressures, temperatures, proper riding gear, and a hundred other different considerations.
So for me, regarding snakes, I'm still in the discovery stage, learning the differences between types of heating, substrate, humidity, racks/cages, care sheets, feeding, lighting, buying from breeders vs. pet stores, etc,.
I appreciate the welcoming to the forum!

Welcome! Once I get my enclosure built, I'm putting a Guyana red tail inside! :freakedout: They're beautiful snakes.
