A friend of mine got interested in boas and specifically wants a hypo or salmon because of the color of one of my snakes but after a while of us both searching we cannot find anyone who sells these guys without charging 4k plus. Where is the best place to find boa breeders that would ship to the lower 48? He said he would like a clean one and there was a place online called big apple herp that had a really nice one but neither of us know about their rep or anything. Can someone point us in the right direction?

I'm assuming you've already checked classifieds? if not, kingsnake and faunaclassifieds both would have CB boas.

I also know someone who is willing to sell his hypo boa but I'm not sure if he would ship but I can always ask if you want.

PMing you a classified ad right now.

we checked the local classifieds in town, i havent checked out fauna yet but am on king and there has been some promising outcomes but nothing substantial yet. He wants one that resembles this boa

He likes the orange in Jerry Rice and specifically wants to keep salmon or hypo unless there is another morph neither of us knows about that resembles him. Male or female doesnt matter he just wants a pretty snake.

Is that a T+ albino? Kingsnake has 1.2 - T+ CARAMEL ALBINO(C.A. BOAS)- C/B 2011 $250. I think that's as close as you're going to get to the pictures for a cheap price.

No as far as we know he is just a really pretty hypo with some orange in him.

Well hopefully you can find something in Kingsnake or Fauna that's similar. That adult could have looked like any other average hypo as a baby.

@Poison, I'm on my cell phone :p

Nah. That looks more along a hypo calico.

I am not sure if the calico is an actual morph or more like a form of paradox. I have a friend selling two hypo possible het moonglows that have the calico in them. Its an awesome characteristic.

Your in Arizona? Look up Salmon boa. They are in your area and sell great snakes. My sunglow is from Rich. She is an 08 and a great boa.

Here. Try these guys. http://www.salmonboa.com/

rich and john at salmonboa.com aren't breeding/selling right now. Jeremy Brunson at rolands exotics has several nice animals for sale right now if you want to support the hobbyist. For a breeder with more selection I personally recommend Mike Weitzman at basicallyboas.com You can also find several great breeders on kingsnake most people will do a 3 month payment plan for you. Id stay away from Manny Frade, and the boamaster again just my personal opinion.
calicos/paradox boas have not proven to be genetic it basically a genetic mishap. so they are hard to find and the nice ones carry a big price tag :) If you have nothing by mid spring Ill be happy to hook you up. I have a lot of high priced stuff, but will have normal/ hypos from these litters as well might even get some extra genes in there ;)

To expand on salmonboas they are selling off their boas. They have some nice stuff but from what I have heard they have been doing maintenance feedings.

Basically boas has a nice selection but the average price is in the 2k range and while he wants a pretty boa this isnt a breeder just a good looking animal so I dont think he is willing to spend enough money to cover a small recreational vehicle for a snake

We tried a few days ago to email them and yet have heard anything back

basically boas has normal hypos as well as pet animals (animals under $500) he also does payment plan, he also worked at salmonboa.com for many many yrs that's where the pc aby/ aby line came from. Your not going to here anything from rich and john through email. I would try calling them.
