5th granchild born today !!!!!

my daughter just gave birth to her 2nd child,a baby girl at 2:14am today (40 minutes ago),she already has a 2 year old son,so now she has a full set ;):D

the baby has not been weighed yet,but mother and child are doing great,i even heard a wee greet (small cry) in the back ground,when my daughter called a few minutes ago

so to date thats,3 grandsons and 2 grandaughters,from my oldest 2 kids to think i had no grandkids just over 3 years ago,now i have 5... :shocked:

ive still got another 2 sons,that may go on to give me more grandkids :D

i'm just super happy ALL is well,as both mother and baby are healthy

she will be called... cali..kalli,calee...i'm embaressed to say,i DON'T know how her name will be spelled...but its pronounced kaa-lay



re a quick word with you all...
some of you may have noticed ive not been on here recently (until earlier today),being honest i considered leaving this forum,because of how it's been lately,but after talking to a few members from here by pm...

i decided to stick around and try and HELP,to get our forum back to the great atmosphere it used to have...i am embaressed to say...i let a guy get to me that much i left once before..but that will NOT happen again..

i have too many GOOD FRIENDS ON HERE to ever leave;)

must admit saying " ive got 5 grandkids " out loud makes me feel a little old.....

BUT...

when i'm...sitting at Sunday Dinner at our house...or BETTER still...sitting at XMAS DINNER in the local bowling club (we get a loan of),as theres way too many extended family,to fit us all into one house.....just sitting...WATCHING OVER/LOOKING AT.....my wife Freya,son Shaun and daughter in law,daughter Emma and son in law,son Josh,son Robbie...grandkids...Jack,Lilly,Liam,Jay,Kalli ?:o,.....

is MORE than enough to make up for it...

to sit there and see them ALL and think...me and Freya did that..is a pretty amazing feeling,imo a feeling of acheivement,also your looking at your legacy,you get to see the parts of you who live on,imo a truely amazing feeling

Wow. I wouldn't know what to do with so many family members! I've always thought my family was a bit small...and it's even smaller still with just me, my 2 kids, my younger brother and his son (I don't call his 'wife' family...sorry), it's now even smaller. But that's ok because I know there's lotsa love in these few people :)

And I love your wife's name! Goddess of fertility (I know there's others but we're focusing on this one ok? lol).....kinda lives up to it huh? :laugh: Does she love the snakes as much as you? Freya (or Frejya ) also belonged to a group of gods called Vanir who were associated with nature, wild places, animals, etc.

P. S. Back in the old days when you had to pay per hour for aol (back in the 90's), my screen name was Frejya. I used to be very into the old Norse Gods. :D

we always had it down as " the Female Norse God of Love " among the other legends like what you mentioned

i come from a family that don't show their emotions,have get togethers,etc,my wife and i changed all that,with all our offspring and daughter/son in laws...

we're one big happy family of " thirteen ",i hope to get another grandchild soon...as i'm supersticious about the number 13...!!

re my own kids
i had 3 sons and 1 daughter,although she is a great daughter,i still worried more about my wee lassie...than all the boys put together (i loved them all equally,but girls imo worry you more)

ive now got 3 grandsons

and 2 grandaughters...so twice the worry :eek::yes:

oh i forgot to say,i FINALLY found out how to spell my new grandaughters name...its Caleigh...!!
