Ditch (what looks like) the analog. Get a digital thermometer/hygrometer. Very pretty by the way. :) There are lots of knowledgeable ball people on here that I'm sure can give you lots of info. Posting a complete pic of your setup will be a good start.

nice looking ball it looks like a normal ball to me. and im with embrace analog thermometers have been known to be up to 20 degrees off

According to that, your humidity is too low. But like I said, there are ball people here. You could post a separate thread in the appropriate section asking about their care. You'll get a much better response than in the welcome section.

ok im positive its a normal. did they sell it to you as a pastel? he looks healthy though:) do you how many gallons that cage is? it looks like a 5.5
